Position Title: Principal Consultant

Status: Full-time, Regular
Reporting to: Professional Services Director
Location: San Jose, CA

Position: SiGlaz is seeking experienced data warehouse professionals for our Professional Services Group.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject-matter expert in one or more industry verticals.
• Provide architecture and project management for Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Mart projects.
• Engagement planning.
• Supporting generation of post-implementation sales.
• Staff management / tutoring.
• Devise and prototype SiGlaz' solution based on custom requirements.
• Provide technical and business vision for SiGlaz Software, Inc.'s product.
• Contribute to intellectual property.
• Support sales/pre-sales activities.

Required Education and Experience:

• MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with OLAP (MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos, Brio, Hyperion, Microsoft OLAP Service) a must.
• Prior technical consulting experience, especially at Big 5 or tool vendor firms.
• Experience with data modeling (ERWin), ETL (Informatica, Sagent, Platinum, Prism), and reporting tools (Crystal Reports, Oracle Discoverer).
• Experience with leading JAD sessions with the client.
• Experience in project scoping and project management.
• Experience in managing a data warehouse implementation team.
• Experience with Semiconductor principles and packages.
• Proficient with RDBMS, especially SQL Server, Oracle.
• Strong oral and written communication skills - ability to document and present recommendations for process change, solution architecture, etc.
